Sound familiar? Where most irrigation calls start

Most sprinkler calls in Columbia and across Middle Tennessee start with one of these four. Here is what our irrigation crew checks, repairs or installs for each, from patchy coverage to the yearly backflow test.

Four common starts

  1. Gloved hands adjusting a rotor sprinkler head in a lawn

Dry patches here, soggy spots there

Uneven coverage usually comes down to heads that are tilted, clogged or in the wrong place. We check each zone, adjust or repair heads and set the controller to match the yard.

A new lawn needs water from day one

We lay out the zones, trench and install the system with the sod and beds, so new plants get even water from the start.

    Spring start-up and winter freezes

In spring we turn the system on, check every zone and fix what the winter broke. In fall we winterize it so a hard freeze does not crack pipes, valves or heads.

Cost What shapes the price of a sprinkler system

Every property is different, so we price your sprinkler system after we've walked it. The size and number of zones, lawn or beds, the ground and access, and whether the system is new or existing move the number most.

A zone plan and a clear price before anything is dug.

  1. Size and zones

How much lawn and bed area, and how many zones it takes to cover it.

  2. Lawn and beds

Lawns and planting beds need different heads and coverage.

  3. Ground and access

Rock, slopes, and driveways or walks to cross.

  4. New or existing

A new system, or repairs and upgrades to the one you have.

Rather talk it through?

931-888-LAWN

931-888-5296 · 1308A Mainsail Dr, Columbia, TN

Do you install new sprinkler systems?

Yes. We design and install irrigation for lawns and beds, from new builds to existing yards, and tie it into new landscaping while the ground is open.

Can you repair or upgrade my existing system?

Yes. We repair heads, valves, lines and wiring, and upgrade existing systems for new lawn or beds.

Do you do spring start-ups and winterization?

Yes. In spring we start systems up, check them zone by zone and fix anything the winter broke. In fall we winterize them before hard freezes.

Can you test my irrigation backflow device?

Yes. Our certified technicians test backflow prevention devices to local regulations and industry standards, so your system stays compliant.

Why does backflow testing matter?

A backflow preventer stops water from flowing back into the supply, where it could carry fertilizers, chemicals or other pollutants into your home's or community's drinking water. Testing confirms the device is working.

Can irrigation go in with new sod and landscaping?

Yes, and that's the easiest time. We plan the zones with the design and install the system before the sod goes down.

How much does a sprinkler system cost?

It depends on the size of the property and the scope of work. We give you a free on-site estimate before any work begins, so you know what to expect before you commit.

Do you install and service irrigation in Spring Hill, Franklin and Brentwood?

Yes. From our yard on Mainsail Drive in Columbia, we work across Maury and Williamson counties, including Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Franklin and Brentwood. The on-site estimate is free anywhere in that area.
